Porchlight rose from a desire to be faithful to the call and leading of Jesus. After much prayer and seeking and waiting and confirmation, Porchlight was planted.

Jesus is awesome. Our first and foremost value is Jesus. It’s not about what we want to do, or what burdens we may have. For us, it’s all about Jesus; being drawn into intimacy with Him, living in devotion to Him, and witnessing the depth of love and hope that He brings. Where He leads, we will strive to follow.

We pray that we are welcoming. With the gladness and simplicity of heart that marked the early church, we hope to provide a spiritual home for those who are weary and seeking, and for those of who have set their hearts on finding God. We believe it is not only possible, but moreover the purpose of God for us to come together to grow together, worship, and glorify Him. It is through His people, whether we are in church, at home, or anywhere else, that the world sees a living God that loves and brings hope and healing.
